5.2.5 Installing the Fan Assembly Back into the Chassis

1. Place the fan assembly back into the chassis. (Figure 92, “A”)

2. Plug the PCI fan power cables into the connectors on the SFP board. (“B”)

3. Run the cable back over the PCI fan assembly. (Figure 93, “A”)

4. Reconnect the flex cable to the SAS backplane board. (“B”)

5. Re-install the flex cable support bracket.

6. If this is the last task you are performing, replace the top cover of the chassis.

Reconnect all the external devices and plug in the power cord(s).

For information about mounting the server in a rack, see Section 3.5, “Installing

the Server into a Rack” on page 48.
